  1. Wow!

Thanks for posting, Mr. Perry B!

  2. John Haydon says:

It made me feel hope in the unlimited power that exists in each one of us.

  3. LeeAnn says:

I get choked up just looking at the still shot of the video, before I play it – even though I’ve seen it over ten times! Love the “little guy” makes it big feeing. Makes me think I can make it too-which is I guess what makes me teary.

  4. Johannes says:

Great clip, I really love it!

  5. maggieross says:

Wow – talk about Divine Expression! That was so moving and beautiful.

  6. dez_futak says:

This is what it’s all about Perry! Ordinary people being able to have the chance to do extraordinary stuff. An inspiration that we can *all* aim for the high octane stuff where true life is found. Paul has the guts to believe in himself strongly enough to risk failing…and we all should.

Thanks for Twittering this mate & thanks for all you do to encourage us to keep going too.

  7. jbradford50 says:

Well, having seen that before it still brings tears. Not so much for the talent but that he followed his dream to much aclaim and remained humble. Awesome, thanks for the refresher.

  8. awessendorf says:

Makes me cry. I wonder how many incredibly talented people are out there hiding their lights under baskets. How many there are to afraid or beaten down to try or truly unaware of the magic then have within them.

There is so much overconfident mediocrity out there. I hope seeing this will inspire a few of the quiet ones to come out into the light and shine.

Thanks for sharing the video :-)

  9. Kyle Ashley says:

I must say I agree Perry! It’s difficult to not become overwhelmed with joy and goosebumps when hearing a voice like Paul’s. Thank you for your leadership Perry!

  10. rmvenancio says:

Already knew this video. Its fantastic. I love the face of the jury before and after he starts to sing.

  11. Lisa Tarrant says:

    Hi Perry,

Thanks for sharing this. What a great way to start my day! I got goosebumps!

  12. javajojo says:

I teared up hearing this beautiful sound coming out of gentleman. His voice is extraordinary, and I was thrilled to see that his hopes and dreams are on the way to coming to fruition.

We all have our “song,” and like this gentleman, we can find our opportunities to make our talents come to life and work for us. Dreams can come true, if we believe in them, and do the necessary work to get there.

Thanks for sharing! An inspiration for me!

  13. textdeluxe says:

    Yes, this is moving. :-)
I knew this before because in Germany, it’s been turned into a commercial for T-Mobile …

  14. CoachRandy says:

I’ve seen this several times and it never fails to make me smile, cry, smile! I wish him well.
And you my friend, well, what can I say. You inspire me. Your casual approach to this business is just what I needed to hear! I believe in being human first, helper second, and if I make a few dollars, that’s great. Thus far, about six months, I’ve been the first two but the final has eluded me completely. I’m having trouble getting “noticed” but I will continue to be of service where I can. Thank you for being you.
P.S. I’m sure you’ve hear of him, if not, check out Terry Fader on YouTube. He is SOOO talented.

I remember watching this when it first came on TV here in the UK and was absolutely blown away. I’m a musician myself and have to say that this guy is astoundingly brilliant.

I just found it rather annoying when there were all the interviews with all the so called Opera experts who thought he was no good at all.

The amount of expression and feeling that came from that one performance was amazing. I have seen Opera for real and as great as it is this performance gave me goose bumps.

Definite props to him as it was simply brilliant.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

  16. Jesus Pina says:

I can watch this video a trillion times and every time I watch it, it makes me feel so humbled by the way he presents himself without arrogance and so much humility that you can help it but sympathize with him and his unbelievable talent.

  17. It makes me believe in the amazing possibilities that exist for each of us if we are willing to find the right venue to express our individual, God-given talents.

    Thanks for sharing this!

  18. Just goes to show how the world is shrinking. The social web is helping bring these talents to the masses. Incredible talent, made for TV type drama.

  19. BrentW says:

    Incredible!

It shows how many people are beat down in life and told directly by people or told through circumstances they can’t do certain things or dreams.

You could tell when he walked out on the stage and saw their faces, he was just ready to be knocked down another notch. As one person said above, it’s great to see the before and after faces of the judges. It made me feel so happy for the guy seeing him be reassured at how incredible of a talent he has.

  20. scottmoroney says:

Amazing talent. Just goes to show how small the world is becoming online, and how social thinking is a part of it.

  21. Mama Baulac says:

go bolding into the world. It is o.k. to be afraid just do it anyway.

  22. Carl says:

We often use the phrase ‘physically moved’. It happens at 1.59

  23. @terricook says:

I saw this when it was on orginially it just makes me swell up with tears of joy for someone so humble with a gift that is sooo beautiful.

Just goes to show u at sometime if u know u have a gift u have to walk through the fear walk by the naysayers and give ur gift to the world!

  24. SurfCityJay says:

What can I say… AWESOME! *as tears roll down*

  25. OMG!! How did that make me feel? It made me feel the same way Andrea Bocelli and Luciano Pavarotti make me feel when I listen to them: INCREDIBLE! Thank you so much for sharing this!

  26. Jacob says:

I occasionally see that on youtube days ago, it’s touched, but check this out, 6 years old Connie Talbot, touching the soul!!

  27. Amazing! That dude is going to rock when he gets the confidence to make his dreams come true.

  28. specki4is says:

Is it only me who is cynical about this show – maybe I shouldn’t have read Ben Elton’s book Chart Throb before I watched it. (Paul can sing though, all that money on lessons in Italy wasn’t wasted)

  29. Wasim says:

I always love situations like these where poeple watch, waiting for someone to make a fool of themselves just by judging too quick and then suddenly it dawns on people that they’re watching a genius.

  30. almir says:

    that was an awesome video

  31. Luke Wold says:
