OK, Maybe I’m a cocky bastard but most gurus don’t impress me. Probably because they are all about money and I have already made (and lost) 10X more than all of them.. So what impresses me?
Passion
Money, Stuff, Friends etc…all come and go. Passion freekin’ RULES!

I love this video. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched this. This is a video that never gets old. He gets me hyped every time I watch this. Thanks for posting it so I can be reminded of the passion it takes.
Can you imagine if every company in the world had one Gary V. working in it. That world would kick ass.
I spend my evenings trolling the internet, magazines, talking with the smartest people I can find and then sharing what I can through my blog AdJoke.
I believe advertising needs to change. The name AdJoke came about because I believe that advertising today is a joke. So much wasted money, so many pointless messages, so many annoyed consumers. Will my blog change it? Maybe not today, but tomorrow – I hope so.
And then I’ll buy the Calgary Flames.

I’ve not yet had the pleasure of seeing Gary speak in person but his passion certainly comes through. And I like how he doesn’t sugar-coat it – you have to do work you love and work hard, while also doing work that pays the bills until your passion can provide.

I LOVE this!
Passion is what it’s all about.
So many ‘gurus’ preach the ‘get rich quick’ fantasy.
This guy, says: “Find Your Passion and Go After it!”
That’s what makes it all work.
That’s what keeps you going when you have a hard day, or when you don’t get as many sales as you want.
If you love what you do, and you are passionate about it, the people and the money will follow

I love his style and his transparency, and his energy helps shake the cobwebs out of my plan-plan-plan mindset.

About that Legacy stuff… I want my great, great, great Grand kids to think good things of me too. I just hope they aren’t slaves of the 10 trillion dollar debt our asshole Gov. is giving them!
I keep coming back to what is the best nitch for me… What do I like to do beside raising my kids, skiing, SCUBA Diving and getting massaged by pros?
My wife and I built our own twin, super strong, earthquake, hurricane, tornado and fire proof, passive solar, environmentally friendly concrete, steel, foam and glass Geodesic Dome home; so that’s one for the legacy.
Making money is a nice hobby and to raise the kiddies I need a never ending supply of greenbacks so I’m launching some marketing tools never seen before… Only drawback is no programmer on earth knows how to do what I want since it’s never been done before. One programmer thinks he’s close so were going to try a soft launch in the next few weeks and see if it works or sucks. I’m hoping it works well enough to make enough to pay off the mortgage and all other debt and get enough to write version 2.0 of the same stuff so it kicks ass completely!
I’m just a little lazy so my project is designed for lazy marketers looking for a short-cut to get the word out about their stuff.

it was great. in financial planning it reminds me how i initially was successful. ADD VALUE! Before any interaction first i had to provide what i call a freebie.; something that would help the client first without any payback. an idea or tip that they didn’t know about before. also, i was passionate about my work. it comes through. this stuff really works and this video inspired me to do what i love and what i know works. thanks.
Yeh definitely love Gary’s passion for life and business and also the Jets, but that’s a different story all together.

Gary is pure, raw and absolutely amazing.
Take a guy with burning desire & passion in what he does and stands for … and he’ll trump some wanna be with all that fancy formal book learning.
Add deep down in the gut persistence and sooner or later, he’ll kick his competition’s ass around the school yard any day of the week.
Top it off with caring for others and he’ll have people beat a path to his door.
But here’s a question for us all to consider. When was the last time we did something entirely out of the blue to help our neighbor … and he wasn’t even home to say thanks?
It’s only when we really care about helping people & don’t expect anything in return … that we truly shine.
And that’s why Gary is a rising star.

That presentation about doing a business that you love just came in the nick of time. Gary Vaynerchuk is so passionate about helping people in business even though he is a millionaire. All it takes is hard work, passion and positioning yourself to seize the opportunity at hand.
As a website designer, I help alot of people online with their business and I have seen people working so hard only to give up just a minute before their business blossoms.
Another good example is Evan williams who started http://www.blogger.com and then sold it to google. Later on he launched odeo.com but it did not do as well. Instead of giving up, he co-founded http://www.twitter.com which even President OBAMA uses everyday.
Now how is that for a success story!

Another great breath of fresh air!! This is so true. Once I started doing what I love things started to happen. The biggest benefit is I am way happier cuz I know I can make a difference. My first eBook is coming out this week and I am excited and scared at the same time. However I really do have a passion for assisting people in escaping from slave camp or cubicle hell.
